HCSS awarded UK FCDO grant for groundbreaking research on climate-conflict nexus

We proudly announce that the UK FCDO has awarded HCSS a grant for a research project on the climate-conflict nexus. The project seeks to identify and analyze the causal pathways that lead from climate change to violent conflict on the basis of field work and new causal modelling approaches by our innovative Datalab.

Master class HCSS voor vaste Tweede Kamer commissie Defensie

Op woensdag 8 september gaven HCSS, TNO en Clingendael een master class aan de vaste commissie voor Defensie van de Tweede Kamer.
Namens HCSS presenteerden Tim Sweijs en Jack Thompson over respectievelijk “Het Veranderende Karakter van Conflict: Trends en Implicaties” en over “The Future of Transatlantic Relations”.
