Hi! My name is Julie and I come from France. I first arrived in the Netherlands four years ago to study International Relations and Organisations at Leiden University. I first found out about HCSS at a career event organised by Leiden University, where I had the opportunity to speak with the internship coordinators. What intrigued me was the broad and dynamic nature of the internship, the projects HCSS was involved in and wanting to bridge the theoretical dimension of my studies with the research and policy-making world.

HCSS and CESFA Sign Memorandum of Understanding to Enhance Cooperation on Economic Security

The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) and the Center for Economic Security and Foreign Affairs (CESFA) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation on key economic security challenges. The signing builds on the broader momentum of deepening bilateral ties between the Netherlands and the Republic of Korea. In 2024, the two countries formalized a Strategic Partnership, underlining their shared commitment to upholding international norms, fostering innovation, and promoting economic and technological cooperation. This new MoU reinforces that commitment, with a focus on navigating the complex landscape of global economic security.
