Tim Sweijs to speak at SIPRI Workshop: Cyber Resilience, Deterrence and Defence in the Age of Hybrid Warfare

HCSS director or research Tim Sweijs will be speaking at a workshop in Berlin on the 27th of September, on the theme of Cyber Resilience, Deterrence and Defence in the Age of Hybrid Warfare. This workshop will explore challenges and trends in cyber resilience, deterrence and defence, as shaped by hybrid warfare concerns in Europe, East and Southeast Asia. The workshop will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule.

Tim will speak at the session on “European Dynamics” from 15.00-16.10, the session will examine the questions:

  • What are the lessons learned from events surrounding Ukraine and the Baltics? And what are the emerging cyber trends?
  • Considering these, what are your recommendations for improving national and regional cyber resilience, deterrence and defence?

  • Time: 14:30-17:00
