Alessandra Barrow joins HCSS as the PR & Communications Assistant

September 21, 2022

HCSS is very happy to announce that Alessandra Barrow is reinforcing the Communications Team as a new PR and Communications Assistant!

Alessandra is a South Asia specialist by training and recently gained a ResMA (Master of Research) in Asian Studies from Leiden University, where she researched the impact of Hindu nationalism on UK politics. Prior to joining HCSS Alessandra was an intern at International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS), where she worked on The Newsletter, the IIAS journal.

At HCSS Alessandra will work alongside the Communications Officer Patrick Willemsen and is responsible for all communication, PR, publications, webinars, social media and press contacts.

It is wonderful to join HCSS at this critical moment in the growth of the organisation and to be at the forefront of communicating strategic and geopolitical developments to the national and international media. I look forward to enhancing HCSS PR and Communications alongside my colleagues!
