Bondkanselier Merz zegt dat hij er alles aan zal doen om de Nord Stream 2 pijpleiding gesloten te houden. De EU wil in 2027 helemaal onafhankelijk van Russisch gas worden. Een van de alternatieven is de import van nog meer Amerikaanse LNG. Maar de gekte die is ontstaan door de Amerikaanse handelsoorlog en Trumps dreigementen om Groenland in te nemen, laat zien dat we behalve van Rusland ook liever niet te afhankelijk van Amerikaanse LNG willen zijn, schrijft Rob de Wijk in zijn column voor Energiepodium.
Conference Report Seabed Security
On March 27, HCSS and TNO, in close collaboration with the Ministries of Infrastructure and Water Management and Defence, organised the Seabed Security Seminar in The Hague. As part of the preparations, TNO in collaboration with HCSS and the Ministeries, drafted a position paper containing concrete recommendations for action, aimed at strengthening the debate and contributing to effective solutions for the strategic security of the seabed.
