Tim Sweijs to speak at the UK Deterrence and Assurance Academic Alliance Conference 2022

On the 1st of June 2022, HCSS director of research Tim Sweijs will speak at the UK Deterrence and Assurance Academic Alliance Conference, held in partnership with the Defence Nuclear Organisation and King’s College London. This edition of the conference will focus on the challenges and implications of the current deterrence and escalation landscape.

Tim will speak on “Deterrence By Denial” and will be joining a panel of experts moderated by Wyn Bowen (King’s College London) to discuss “Deterrence Methods” from 09.35 to 10.45, together with Samuel Zilincik (Masaryk University / University of Leiden), Geoffrey Chapman (King’s College) and Brooke Taylor (Small Business Consulting Corporation).
