Kees van Rij joins HCSS as Strategic Advisor International Affairs

June 2, 2022

HCSS is proud to welcome Kees van Rij to our roster of Subject Matter Experts! The former ambassador of the Netherlands to Turkey, Greece, Spain and Brazil will be joining us as Strategic Advisor International Affairs.

He has wide experience in dealing with complex geopolitical and geo-economic issues in Europe and abroad.

Van Rij: “HCSS has a unique position in the Netherlands in bringing together a broad range of expertise in foreign and security affairs. This is of paramount importance in an era of uncertainties and major changes in the international system. As a former diplomat with practical experience in Dutch and European foreign policy I intend to contribute to the valuable work of HCSS.”
