HCSS is excited to announce that Frederik Mertens is reinforcing our ranks as a new Strategic Analyst!
A military historian with a focus on the 20th century and beyond, in recent years Mertens has also studied with modern technology such as unmanned systems, robots and AI.
He writes both about military history and modern warfare, but as a generalist his interests and knowledge stretch much wider. It is this combination of historical knowledge and modern technical understanding that gives him insight in the complex world of geopolitics and international security we try to analyse at HCSS.
