Strategic Advisor Middle East and Gulf affairs
Dr. Timo F. Behr works on Middle East and Gulf affairs. He has served as an advisor with the Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) of the United Arab Emirates from 2013-2018.
He holds a PhD in European and Middle East Studies from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) of the Johns Hopkins University in Washington D.C.
Previously, Timo has worked for a number of European foreign policy think-tanks and has taught international affairs and strategic studies at the Johns Hopkins University, the University of Helsinki, and the University of Bologna.
He currently is a Managing Partner of Westphalia Global Advisory, a boutique diplomatic services, political risk and strategy advisory, based in Brussels and The Hague.
