On the 28th of January 2009, HCSS’ policy analyst Theodorus Niemeijer gave a presentation on Exploring Piracy Risk Management off the Coast of Nigeria at the Marcus Evans Maritime Security Conference.
The conference centered on projecting persistent vigilance and situational awareness in the maritime domain. It was held in Amsterdam from the 27th of January untill the 29th of January 2009.
