During the last European Summit , the Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke and Poland’s leader, Beata Szydlo called upon Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker to perform an assessment of whether Russia’s major gas project Nord Stream 2 complies with all EU rules and laws.
For over a year Denmark, Sweden and some Eastern European countries have asked for such an assessment, but the Commission has still not delivered.
