The Hague Security Delta kan op steeds meer belangstelling vanuit het buitenland rekenen.

Het Haagse veiligheidscluster The Hague Security Delta fungeert als ideaal platform voor partijen die starten op de Europese markt. Het Chinese bedrijf Techshino opende op 12 maart jl. haar deuren in Den Haag. Techshino Europe Technology B.V. is actief in biometrische identificatie en data security en is een aanwinst voor The Hague Security Delta (HSD), het internationale veiligheidscluster in de Haagse regio. Dit bleek gisteren uit de bedrijfspresentatie tijdens de openingsceremonie in het European Simulation and Validation Center in Den Haag.

Techshino ontwikkelt toepassingen voor identificatiemethodes gebaseerd op vingerafdrukken, gezichtsherkenning en irisscans. Het bedrijf is afkomstig uit Beijing en behoort in China tot de top 10 in hun werkveld. Techshino gaat zich vestigen in het Border Security Innovation Center (BIC) op de Johan van Oldenbarneveltlaan in Den Haag. Naast in Nederland is Techshino binnen Europa actief in Zweden. De keuze voor een Europees hoofdkantoor in Den Haag kwam tot stand na bemiddeling van de WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency en de Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency. Op termijn zal Techshino 15 mensen in dienst hebben.
