Podcast | Marsh Horizons: De Race Voor Nieuw Terrein

De wereld staat voor grote uitdagingen. Er is economische onzekerheid en geopolitieke spanning. Technologische ontwikkeling heeft verregaande invloed op de maatschappij. En de impact van klimaatverandering wordt steeds zichtbaarder. De vooruitzichten dwingen ons tot verandering en aanpassing. Waar beweegt de wereld naar toe en hoe ga je daar als bedrijf of organisatie mee om? Met welke risico’s krijg je te maken en wat is de stip aan de horizon?

De race om nieuw terrein is in volle gang. Geopolitieke verschuivingen vinden niet alleen plaats op aarde, ook in de ruimte is een werkelijke ‘space race’ gaande. Waar de ruimtewedloop ooit een strijd was tussen Amerika en de Sovjet-Unie, mengen tegenwoordig ook landen uit Azië, het Midden-Oosten en de EU, en private partijen zich steeds nadrukkelijker. Wat speelt er eigenlijk allemaal zo ver weg van huis? Wat zijn de belangen? Eén ding is duidelijk, het wordt drukker in de ruimte. En dat terwijl de regels op aarde nog bepaald worden. Hoe gaan alle partijen om met dit nieuwe speelveld? Wie neemt de verantwoordelijkheid? En hoe beïnvloedt deze wedstrijd de verhoudingen op aarde?
