New website Water, Peace & Security (WPS) partnership

December 7, 2021

This week, the Water, Peace and Security (WPS) partnership turned 2-years old! It was launched at the World Meteorological Organization in Geneva on 5 December 2019 to mitigate and address watercrisis. To celebrate this milestone, we introduced a restyle and new functionalities to our website. New graphics, structure and functionalities: take a look, and explore all the updates, new content and user-experience improvements at waterpeacesecurity.org

Together with the restyling of the Water, Peace and Security website, we are launching the WPS E-learning course. The course is free and open to anyone interested. You will find several video lectures from our experts, reading materials and quiz-questions. Learn more about how water-related risks link to conflict and how such conflict can be prevented or mitigated.

Go to waterpeacesecurity.org/info/e-learning and explore its first 2 modules to learn about the linkages of water, security and peace.
