From Monday, September 2 to Wednesday, September 4, Stephan has been invited by the National Security College, Australian National University to participate in their Risk Management Course for National Security Professionals.
The course will deliver a practical, interactive program on risk management for the national security community, drawing on the skills and experience of key risk practitioners from government, academia, business and industry. Stephan will present a case study on the Netherlands experience of whole-of-government risk assessment and will act as a syndicate mentor. The purpose of the case study would be to prepare participants to think creatively and laterally about possible approaches for Australia, and issues which might need to be addressed within their own agencies or portfolio groupings.
