In ‘Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Defense’, HCSS Experts Tim Sweijs and Stephan De Spiegeleire outlined the influence of Artificial Intelligence on the future of security and defense. Recently, HCSS Expert Tim Sweijs gave a lecture about this subject at the Bangladesh National Defense College.
In his lecture, Dr. Sweijs considered the strategic implications for developing nations such as Bangladesh, explaining that Artificial Intelligence not only harnesses threats, but also opportunities.
About the National Defense College
The National Defense College offers an annual command course with the aim of preparing flag officers in the rank of Brigadier General for managing national defense. This year, the NDC was attended by 82 officers from over 25 countries.
