Master class HCSS voor vaste Tweede Kamer commissie Defensie

September 9, 2021

Op woensdag 8 september gaven HCSS, TNO en Clingendael een master class aan de vaste commissie voor Defensie van de Tweede Kamer.

Namens HCSS presenteerden Directeur Onderzoek Tim Sweijs en Senior Strategic Analyst Jack Thompson over respectievelijk “Het Veranderende Karakter van Conflict: Trends en Implicaties” en over “The Future of Transatlantic Relations”.

De vaste commissie van Defensie hecht veel belang aan het voortdurend versterken van haar kennis- en informatiepositie. Een groot deel van de commissieactiviteiten is gericht op een goede voorbereiding van de Kamer voor het overleg met de bewindslieden. Daarnaast legt de commissie in de kennisagenda een aantal specifieke thema’s vast, waarop zij zich proactief, inhoudelijk verder wil verdiepen. De doelstelling van deze agenda is om te komen tot een stevige gemeenschappelijke kennisbasis.
