On October 24th, Joshua Polchar will present ‘LGBT in the Armed Forces: An International Perspective’ at the OutServe-SLDN 2013 International Leadership Conference on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender personnel in armed forces.
A wide body of scientific literature has analyzed the consequences of LGBT people serving in armed forces and during international operations. HCSS aims to take stock of what we know about the potential risks and opportunities presented by an inclusive approach to LGBT service members.
HCSS will spearhead the future debate on on LGBT military service in an innovative new study, which will assess the challenges faced by LGBT individuals in armed forces around the world.
