Pending a final agreement on Iran’s nuclear program and a relaxing of sanctions, Iran is already courting investors for its hydrocarbon sector. The country is keen to increase its oil exports after years of sanctions. At a time that OPEC is involved in a price war with American shale oil producers, the the prospect of an increase in Iranian oil exports poses an additional headache for the cartel.
