New Collaboration Announcement: HCSS x Cyber People/BlockVerse Institute – Supporting Job Readiness for IDCSS Graduates
We are excited to announce a new collaboration between the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS), organiser of the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School (IDCSS), and Cyber People, a leading organisation in cyber talent recruitment and placement, and BlockVerse Institute, a future ready skilling and workforce transformation partner.
This partnership marks a significant step forward in bridging the gap between cybersecurity education and industry demand. While HCSS continues to deliver a high-quality, multidisciplinary curriculum through IDCSS, Cyber People and BlockVerse Institute will support the school in identifying top-performing students and skilling them based on industry demand. The skilling is to get them job ready and will be part-time but over 3 months after IDCSS finishes. Students who perform well in this job readiness cohort will then be connected with relevant career opportunities within the cyber industry. Through their network, Cyber People and BlockVerse Institute will be engaged in supporting and guiding these graduates to jobs where there is a good fit.
To be considered for this placement support initiative, students must meet two eligibility requirements:
- A Certificate of Attendance, for completing the lecture and action learning module of IDCSS
- A Certificate of Participation, for completing the challenge module of IDCSS
From this pool, candidates whose skills and interests align with current industry needs will be identified. Selected students will then be contacted directly to undergo further screening for a self-paid 3-month training program.
