HCSS Datalab presents: GINA Economic

July 18, 2024

As international tensions fluctuate and alliances shift, the need for advanced analytical tools to decode these interactions has never been more crucial. The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) is at the forefront of developing solutions that bring clarity and insight into the geopolitical landscape.

The Geopolitical Interactive Network Analysis (GINA) series developed by the HCSS Datalab stands as a pioneering suite of tools designed to transcend traditional analysis methods. By integrating diverse data from diplomatic, information, military, and economic spheres, GINA provides a multidimensional perspective on global relations that shape our world.

In June, the HCSS Datalab launched the first tool from the series, GINA Diplomatic, which focuses on diplomatic engagement across the globe by analyzing and comparing voting and speech behavior on an international dyadic level.

Today, we proudly present the second tool released from our Geopolitical Interactive Network Analysis series, GINA Economic.

Watch the explainer video, read the Methodological Notes or dive straight into the tool by clicking on the image below.

GINA Economic

GINA Economic is the second tool released from our Geopolitical Interactive Network Analysis (GINA) series. This tool lays emphasis on global economic interactions by analyzing and comparing trade and foreign direct investment behavior on an international dyadic level.

In a few weeks, the HCSS Datalab will also launch GINA Information and GINA Military dashboards. Check our dedicated GINA landing page for regular updates!

Join the potential of GINA

HCSS invites organizations and governments to engage with the GINA. Our technology aims to enhance decision-making processes, inform policy development, and promote international stability. If your organization is interested in accessing our GINA tools or contributing to their evolution, please contact us at info@hcss.nl.

Explore the potential of GINA and join us in navigating the complexities of modern geopolitics with precision and foresight.
