Europa pakt Poetin te slap aan

March 7, 2014

Europa spreekt over het instellen van sancties tegen Rusland als gevolg van de Russische acties op de Krim in Oekraïne. Voorlopig echter zet Europa niet echt door met harde sancties en lijkt het vooral Poetin die aan de winnende hand is.

In Nieuwsuur van 6 Maart 2014 stelt Sijbren de Jong dat een hardere lijn tegen Poetin goed mogelijk is en dit het Russische regime veel harder zal raken dan veel mensen denken. We zijn bang dat de Russen de gaskraan dichtdraaien. Maar, is deze angst wel gegrond?

Sijbren de Jong sprak ook met Radio 1 programma Standpunt NL waar hij de stelling inneemt dat Rusland veel harder zou moeten worden aangepakt.
