From November 12-14 2024, GC REAIM successfully held its third in person Commission Meeting in Stellenbosch, South Africa in collaboration with the Defence AI Research Unit (DAIRU). These three days brought together Commissioners, Experts, and local partners to consolidate the work of GC REAIM’s workstreams and pave a practical work plan for the next year.
GC REAIM Co-chair Byung-se Yun highlighted the role of the REAIM Summit and the Global Commission in his recent op-ed in the Korea Times. He spotlighted the adoption of the REAIM Blueprint for Action, which focuses on ethical, human-centered AI applications that comply with international law. As a Co-chair of GC REAIM, Byung-se Yun underlined the dedication of the Global Commission to contribute to this goal.
