On April 22-23, HCSS’ director business development Michel Rademaker joined the closing session and round table session in Sofia, Bulgaria of the NATO Operations Research Support to Force and Operations Planning in the New Security Environment.
In his function as co-director of the program he supported this effort in recent years.
General definition of the mission of the program.
Analysis of the security sector to define architecture of the operations, force, C2 and acquisition / logistics systems in order to identify models for planning (optimization) support in process of the real decision making as well as to provide environment for CAX. Transfer of available models, development on new ones and their integration into modern DSS, based on the infrastructure of the CoE in OR support of the security sector governance / change management.
Building of CoI infrastructure and human capacity for implementing of modern DSS in security sector governance as part of NATO network for change management. Knowledge management on the area of OR support of the security sector governance to cope with modern treats and war against terrorism.
