  • 📅 Date: Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025
  • 🕑 Time: 10:00 – 16:30
  • 📍 Location: HCSS, Lange Voorhout 1, The Hague

The Netherlands – South Korea Forum on 23 April 2025 at HCSS brings together policymakers, experts, and industry leaders to discuss critical issues shaping global security, emerging technologies, and high-tech industry cooperation.

This year’s event, ROK-NL Forum 2025, will feature three dynamic panels addressing the most pressing challenges of our time.

  • The first panel will focus on global security cooperation, with an emphasis on ROK-NATO collaboration, the impact of a potential second Trump administration, and the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Experts will analyze shifting alliances and emerging threats, exploring how international partnerships can adapt to an increasingly complex geopolitical landscape.
  • The second panel will explore AI governance and emerging technologies, highlighting the role of the Netherlands and South Korea in shaping ethical standards and regulatory frameworks. Discussions will examine how Europe and Asia can strengthen collaboration on AI development, responsible military applications, and international governance mechanisms.
  • The final panel will address high-tech industry resilience, particularly within the semiconductor sector. With global supply chains facing unprecedented pressure, industry leaders will discuss strategies for mitigating risks, adapting to regulatory changes, and leveraging new technologies to enhance supply chain security.

Stay tuned: speakers will be announced shortly!
