- Location: HCSS, Lange Voorhout 1, The Hague
- Date: October 17, 2024
- Time: 16.00 – 18.00 CEST
Join The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS) for a thought-provoking symposium on the military lessons learned from the ongoing war in Ukraine and their relevance to potential conflict scenarios, particularly regarding Taiwan’s delicate position. This event brings together policymakers, academics, and defence experts to explore key insights on warfare, strategy, and international security dynamics.
Our distinguished speakers will discuss how the geopolitical landscape has been reshaped by the conflict in Ukraine, and how these strategic lessons can be applied to the Indo-Pacific. As geopolitical tensions are on the rise, much can be learned from the ongoing conflict in Ukraine when it comes to operational preparedness, the use of emerging technologies, and the role of geography in the conduct of defensive and offensive operations.
The event will be on October 17th, 2024 from 16.00 to 18.00. It will feature panel discussions, Q&A with the audience, and networking drinks at the end of the symposium.
