On 15 April a new book titled Peace, Security and Development in an Era of Globalisation was published by Martinus Nijhoff Publishers. Dutch Minister of Defence Van Middelkoop presented the first copy of the book and he gave a short speech explaining about the meaning of the concept of integrated security in practice. Co-authors of the book are HCSS’ director Rob de Wijk and deputy-director Christa Meindersma.
