On February 3, HCSS welcomed a sizeable delegation of Singaporean foresight practitioners from different government departments and agencies. HCSS has maintained a close relationship with the Singaporean government on strategic foresight and how to anchor it in strategic decisionmaking. Stephan De Spiegeleire and Tim Sweijs presented some examples of recent HCSS foresight work and tried to tease out some of the main lessons learned from the Dutch government constant struggle with strategic foresight. The Singaporean team also presented some of their findings and both sides engaged in a lively discussion.
