The Southern Africa – Netherlands Cyber Security School (SANCS) is an online Cyber Security School for postgraduate students and young to mid-career professionals throughout Southern Africa, the Netherlands and more.
Co-organised by HCSS, Stellenbosch University and sponsored by the Netherlands Embassy and Consulate in South Africa, the central goal of this school is to give SANCS students the opportunity to grow professionally and academically in the sphere of cyber security through free expert lectures and online action learning.
The 2025 edition of SANCS built on last year’s success, doubling participation and delivering yet another an outstanding program, highlighted by organizing the first ever SANCS in-house Career Day hosted at Deloitte South Africa’s headquarters in Johannesburg.
The central aim of the Career Day was to support the top performing 250 SANCS graduates to be more work-ready through a full day of interactive workshops and skills development sessions, designed to prepare them for the dynamic and growing cyber security job market.
This Career day brought together SANCS alumni from both cohorts, SANCS Ambassadors, co-organising parties, industry experts and was an incredible way to keep investing in the growing SANCS community. Scroll down to watch the recap video and impressions from the day:
