The Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School is back for 2023

The annual Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School, co-organised by The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies, Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CCoE), the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) is back for another year! The Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School 2023 is supported by The Municipality of The Hague, Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in New Delhi, Embassy of India in The Hague, and Government of Telangana. Aimed at students and young professionals based in the Netherlands and India, IDCSS offers a unique platform to delve into the realm of cyber security. With a strong focus on professional and academic growth, this month long programme features engaging lectures, team working and interactive projects, empowering participants to excel in the field of cyber security.

This years programme will run from October 6th to November 10th 2023. The first part takes place from October 6-26th, consisting of 20 lectures from renowned experts on a wide range of cyber security-related topics, such as ethics, accountability, hardware security, incident response, data protection and norms and governance. This year, the new topics of Cryptography and Artificial Intelligence will also be introduced.The second part will take place from October 27 until November 10, where groups will work together on case studies provided by leading Indian and Dutch organisations and pitch their findings to a panel of experts that will subsequently determine the best proposal(s). The members of the best teams will be awarded distinctions, certificates and if good enough – the chance to co-write a HCSS report!

Students who successfully participate in the IDCSS will be rewarded with an official certificate. Two types of certificates will be hand out, one for participation in the lectures, and the other for the successful completion of the projects. Interested in taking part? You do not need to have a background in Cyber security or any directly related field of study, but we are looking for candidates who are highly motivated to kick-start or further develop their knowledge in the field of Cyber security. A nominal registration fee will be charged of €5 or ₹500 when you sign up. Sign up via MeraEvents!
