The HCSS Datalab presents: The Agrifood Monitor

December 13, 2024

The Agrifood Monitor focuses on analyzing agricultural trade, logistical efficiency, and developmental trends across the globe. By integrating diverse datasets, the tool provides insights into key trade relationships, positive or negative trade balances, and a wide range of nutritional, logistical, and developmental indicators.

In an increasingly interconnected and complex global food system, understanding agricultural trade dynamics is more vital than ever. At the Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS), we’ve developed the Agrifood Monitor to provide actionable insights into the key drivers of agricultural trade, logistics, and development worldwide.

The Agrifood Monitor leverages data to offer a detailed view of agrifood systems across countries and regions. By analysing trade relationships, balances, and nutritional, logistical, and developmental indicators, the tool helps users make sense of the global agricultural landscape.
