On 1 May 2014, Paul Sinning will become executive director of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies (HCSS). He joins HCSS from Twynstra Gudde, where he has been managing partner, responsible for security and innovation.
In his new position, Mr. Sinning will focus on further expanding the HCSS’ scope of business. Founder Rob de Wijk considers this the right time to hand over his responsibility as executive director of HCSS, which after 7 years has now become an established name in strategic studies both in the Netherlands and internationally.
As non-executive director, Rob de Wijk will remain focused on determining the overall direction of HCSS, while at the same being more closely involved in the actual day-to-day conduct of projects.
In addition he will work on the further development of The Hague Security Delta, a collaboration in which almost two hundred businesses, knowledge institutes, and governments join forces.
