Patrick Bolder: Met China naar de maan, ‘waakzaamheid is geboden’

Nederland werkt al jaren samen met China in een ambitieus ruimteproject. In een reportage van Nieuwsuur waarschuwde ruimtevaartspecialist Patrick Bolder voor de gevaren van samenwerken met China.

Volgens Bolder, strategisch analist bij HCSS, is waakzaamheid geboden, de Chinezen werken volgens hem slim onder de radar. “We moeten niet naïef zijn en denken dat ze lieverdjes zijn. Als ze de kans krijgen om ons te gebruiken, zullen ze dat zeker doen. Dus we moeten uitkijken, samenwerking beperken en informatie opdelen”, zegt hij.
