Pakistan’s Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, said Sunday that the Iran-Pakistan natural gas pipeline will provide 750 million cubic feet of gas (22.5 million cubic meters) a day when it becomes fully operational by 2020. However, the president expects 250 million cubic feet (7.5 million cubic meters) of gas supply from the pipeline by end of 2017. Given the location of Iran’s gas reserves, Iranian gas supplies can travel both East, as well as West.
