Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School 2022 (IDCSS22)

Are you a Dutch or Indian student or young professional with an interest in cyber security? In October and November 2022, the fifth edition of the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School (IDCSS) will take place, offering 20 lectures on a wide range of cyber security-related topics from renowned experts as well as the opportunity to work on real case studies provided by leading Dutch and Indian organizations.

What is the Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School?

The Indo-Dutch Cyber Security School is an annual large-scale event organized between a multitude of Dutch and Indian organizations for Dutch and Indian students and young professionals interested in cyber security issues. The central goal of this school is to give these students and young professionals the opportunity to grow professionally as well as academically in the sphere of cyber security.

The IDCSS22 offers you 20 lectures on a wide range of cyber security-related topics from renowned experts as well as the opportunity to work on real case studies provided by leading Dutch and Indian organizations. This year, the new topics of cryptography and artificial intelligence will also be introduced.

It should be noted that there is only a limited number of places available. For the selection your background will be considered. You don’t need to have a background in cyber security or any directly related field of study, but we are looking for candidates already somewhat familiar & deeply interested in the field. We furthermore give priority to students and young professionals who sign up early, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.

The Programme

The program of the IDCSS consists of two parts.

The first part takes place from Ocotber 28 – November 11, consisting of 20 lectures from renowned experts on a wide range of cyber security-related topics, such as ethics, accountability, hardware security, incident response, data protection and norms and governance.

The second part will take place from November 14 – 25, where groups will work together on case studies provided by leading Indian and Dutch organizations and pitch their findings to a panel of experts that will subsequently determine the best proposal(s). The members of the best teams will be awarded distinctions and certificates!
