HCSS 10 years and opening new office

April 4, 2018

On Monday 26 March 2018, the official opening of the new HCSS office and 10 year anniversary celebration took place.

The mayor of The Hague, Ms Pauline Krikke performed the opening. In her speech, the mayor said to be delighted to open the new office, “at such a central and prominent spot in our city. Since its foundation, HCSS has rapidly become an indispensable partner for national governments. (…) At a time where the power of alternative facts or alternative truths appears to be growing, we need more than ever to base our decisions on facts and a carefully considered interpretation of those facts. Precisely that is what The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies stands for.”
