Haagsch College: China, corona en de wereld

Hoe maakt China van de pandemie gebruik om zijn positie te versterken? En hoe moeten de VS en Europa daarop reageren? In het videocollege “China, corona en de wereld” legt hoogleraar Internationale Betrekkingen Rob de Wijk met pakkende voorbeelden uit hoe corona het gevecht om de wereldmacht nog harder maakt. 

Na de handelsoorlog en strijd om 5G leidt het “Chinese virus” voor nog meer spanningen tussen China, de VS en Europa. De invloed op de WHO en medische hulp aan landen toont de toegenomen macht van China in een veranderende wereld. 

In dit live online Haagsch College met moderator Thomas van Zijl vanuit Nieuwspoort leer je alles over de invloed van corona op de wereldorde en hoe het Westen daarop moet regeren.
