HCSS Data scientist Hannes Rõõs was one of the Keynote Speakers during the annual seminar “Get Connected”, taking place from 25-27 June at the NATO Command and Control Centre of Excellence (NATO C2CoE) in Brussels.
In today’s hybrid environment, it is imperative for commanders and their HQ’s to be able to work off the most accurate and the most recent information possible, in order to gain and maintain an operational advantage.
The aim of the seminar is to inspire participants by providing them with examples of the importance of both traditional information flows as well as evolving possibilities. In order to achieve this, the C2CoE invited a variety of speakers addressing various aspects of getting connected. Thereby illustrating the needs, opportunities and challenges of connectivity.
Hannes Rõõs of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies discussed Open Source data and Conflict Risk Assessment.
