D-café The Hague Security Delta

22 april 2015: D-café georganiseerd door D66 Den Haag

De komende jaren zal Den Haag 68 miljoen euro vrij maken om de economie en werkgelegenheid in de stad aan te jagen. 20 miljoen euro is bedoeld om van Den Haag een internationaal concurrerende, innovatieve kenniseconomie te maken. Er liggen veel kansen rondom The Hague Security Delta, bijvoorbeeld door de verbinding te zoeken met aanverwante sectoren. The Hague Security Delta (HSD) is het grootste veiligheidscluster van Europa. In dit Nederlandse cluster – met een kern in de regio Den Haag – werken bedrijven, overheden en kennisinstellingen samen aan innovaties en kennisontwikkeling op het gebied van veiligheid. Op die manier stimuleren zij economische ontwikkeling en dragen ze bij aan een veiligere wereld.

Welke economische kansen zijn er rondom deze security delta en hoe kunnen we het potentieel ontsluiten? Rob de Wijk, directeur The Hague Security Delta, Robert van Asten, fractievoorzitter D66 Den Haag, en innovatieve bedrijven die kansen van de veiligheidsdelta benutten zullen hierover het gesprek aangaan op de Hague Security Delta Campus.

De inloop is om 19:30 uur, het programma begint om 20:00 uur en om 21:30 uur is er een borrel. De bijeenkomst vindt plaats bij The Hague Security Delta, Wilhelmina van Pruisenweg 104 (bij station Laan van NOI).
