The Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence is hosting the second edition of the Great AppSec Hackathon, an international hackathon for students across India, Australia, Netherlands, UK, and South Africa.

This Cybersecurity Hackathon, conducted virtually, focuses on Web Application Security through a series of CTF (Capture the Flag) challenges. Participants are required to qualify in a multiple-choice questionnaire screening round before the main competition. Benefits include opportunity to win Cash Prizes, priority consideration for Internships/Employment and Industry Recognised Certificates.

The second edition of the Great AppSec Hackathon will be focusing on Web Application Security through an exciting series of CTF (Capture the Flag) challenges, designed to take a gamified approach towards learning Application Security and to engage with the complexities of app security in a hands-on, competitive environment.
Prior to the main competition, participants are required to attend a multiple-choice questionnaire screening round to assess their foundational cybersecurity knowledge. Only those who qualify the MCQ round will be granted access to the CTF event, ensuring a level playing field.
Participants will get access to:
- An online specialised training workshop on “Web Application Security”
- A manual on Application Security and Web Application Hacking published by CCoE.
- CTF Style Hackathon
