In my previous column, I wrote an analysis on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, and some of the outstanding issues after the release of the second State of the Energy Union by the European Commission on 1 February.
In response, Sebastian Sass – a lobbyist for Nord Stream 2 in Brussels – wrote a letter stating that Nord Stream 2 “sets the record straight”. In doing so, however, it appears that Sass gave an introduction into the world of alternative pipeline facts.
