Jeroen van den Hoven is University Professor at Delft University of Technology where he is scientific Director of the Delft Digital Ethics Centre. He is founding Editor in Chief of the journal Ethics and Information Technology (Springer Nature). Van den Hoven serves as a permanent member of the European Group on Ethics (EGE) to the President of the European Commission and as permanent member of the Ethics and AI High Level Expert Group of the WHO. He also advises the Spanish Government on Ethical and Social aspects of AI and has published widely on the ethics of digital technologies. He is co-editor of the Research Handbook on Meaningful Human Control and Autonomous Technology (Elgar, 2024).
