On May 23, HCSS’ deputy-director external affairs Christa Meindersma participated in a symposium on The Responsibility to Protect, with former UN Special Envoy L. Brahimi, former UN Humanitarian Coordinator J. Egeland and former Minister of Defence of the Netherlands J. Voorhoeve. The event was held at the Roosevelt Academy in Middelburg as a side-event to the Four Freedom Award.
