From June 25-27, Stephan De Spiegeleire will play an active role in NATO’s ‘Strategic Military Partner Conference (SMPC) 2013’ in Stockholm, Sweden. SMPC is a core event within NATO’s Allied Command Transformation’s Strategic Engagement Campaign.
Its target audience consists of Chiefs of Defence of NATO, Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI) and Partners across the Globe (PatG) and its ambition is to inform them about NATO’s transformational efforts. This year, Stephan will participate in a panel discussion with SACT, the ASG for Defence Investment and the Chief of Staff Strategic Plans & Policy on ‘Forging the Future’, he will chair a panel on ‘Regional & Functional Frameworks – Critical Nodes in an
Interdependent Security Community’ and will be the Lead of one of the four syndicates on ‘Consolidating Gains: Lessons Learned from 10 Years of Operations’.
