Do you have ideas about how to make cities more secure? Join the Secure Your Future Multimedia Competition!
The Hague Security Delta, Koninklijk Instituut van Ingenieurs (KIVI), and technology magazine De Ingenieur challenge you to come up with ideas for multimedia application that can improve urban security. For example ideas related to crowd-management, warning systems, and information supply to governments. The competition is now open!
Invent and/or develop an app, game, website, video, presentation, or other multimedia application. The application does not necessarily have to be fully developed. A concept or idea that is clearly explained in a presentation will also be accepted. Everyone, including students, entrepreneurs, hobbyists, and ICT professionals, can join. Both individuals and groups can subscribe.
The winner receives 750 euro and the runner-up 350 euro. Both of them will also be assisted by the Secure Your Future partners in further developing the application into a business model, finding funds, and testing the idea in practice!
On September 12 2014 an inspiration session for the Secure Your Future Multimedia Competition will take place at The Hague Beach Stadium. In order to inspire the participants, during this session several parties, including Future Events, the municipality of The Hague, and the World Forum, will explain the security issues they encounter in their daily work practice. In a relaxed setting, the participants will get the opportunity to ask questions about these issues and about the competition in general.
