On Monday, July 17 in Washington, D.C., the Atlantic Council’s Cyber Statecraft Initiative of the Brent Scowcroft Center on International Security hosted a panel on cyber space as a new field of conflict. HCSS’s Cyber Policy and Resilience Program Director Alex Klimburg joined this panel, together with Laura Galante, Jane Holl Lute, and moderator Tal Kopan.
This panel examined the consequences of the battle for cyberspace among nation states and non-state actors alike, threatening not only our personal data but human lives, global stability, and the fundamentals of the Internet as we know it today. The event also marked the launch of Klimburg’s book “The Darkening Web: The War for Cyberspace“. More information about the event and the video recordings can be found here.
