Referendumchecker ruim 30.000 keer bezocht

DEN HAAG (ANP) – Ruim 30.000 keer is de website www.referendumchecker.nl, met daarop feiten en fabels over Oekraïne, de associatieovereenkomst en het komende referendum, de afgelopen maand bezocht. Dat meldt de organisatie achter de site, The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies maandag.

Op de site worden stellingen ‘gefactcheckt’ over het associatieverdrag met Oekraïne, waarover volgende week een referendum wordt gehouden. Er worden meer dan veertig stellingen uitgelegd, zoals onder meer: Verreweg de grote meerderheid van Oekraïne wil deze overeenkomst dolgraag (deels waar), de regering kan de uitslag van het referendum naast zich neerleggen (waar) en door de associatieovereenkomst wordt de EU straks overspoeld met vluchtelingen en migranten uit Oekraïne (onwaar).
