Nederland-Ruslandjaar

De PvdA wil dat het Nederland-Ruslandjaar “on hold” wordt gezet. Dit in verband met alle relletjes die onlangs plaatsvonden tussen beide landen.

Nederland en Rusland vieren in 2013 “de brede en langdurige samenwerking en de intentie van beide landen om ook in de toekomst te werken aan innovatief partnerschap”.

Op 16 oktober werd bekend dat twee onbekenden een Nederlandse diplomaat in Moskou hebben mishandeld. Eerder was er ophef over de Russische diplomaat Borodin in Den Haag en de opsluiting van (Nederlandse) Greenpeace-activisten door Rusland.  Is dit aanleiding voor Nederland om te stoppen met het Nederland-Ruslandjaar?
