The deal struck between Russia and Turkey on the Turkish Stream pipeline had been long in the making. The agreement envisages the construction of 2 pipelines: one for the Turkish domestic market and one that stretches onwards to Southeastern Europe. Getting the gas to Southeastern Europe is not a clear-cut affair however, and some obstacles remain. Radio Romania’s program Actualitati spoke about the matter with Sijbren de Jong.
