Studio Schumpeter | Ron Stoop over de opmars zonnepanelen uit India

India bouwt in razend tempo aan een eigen zonnepaneelindustrie. Daarmee wil het land niet alleen de energietransitie versnellen, maar ook zijn positie op de wereldmarkt versterken.

Voor Europa biedt dit een strategische kans: samenwerking met India kan helpen om de afhankelijkheid van China te verkleinen en de energieveiligheid te vergroten.

In de nieuwste aflevering van Studio Schumpeter gaat Roy op het Veld in gesprek met Ron Stoop, econoom en strategisch analist bij HCSS, over India, dat bezig is om een compleet nieuwe industrie op te zetten voor de productie van zonnepanelen.
